What an odd year. I had to break someone's heart, which I have never had to do before (What kind of nerd googles "how to break up with someone?"). I started grad school and a new job in the same week. I have a marvelous new dog and lovely new friends.

Heh, yes actually. I have never had to do it face to face before so I wanted some tips, thinking it would go well. It did not go well.
